audio books: the best way to commute

so audio books have been a good friend of mine for quite a while, but over the past few years we have kindled a deeper and more dependent relationship than ever before. so first we were driving back to Indiana frequently for visits [10 hours each way. ouch]. then bug went to a school that was an hour drive from our house [it was only 19 miles, who’d a thought!?].  and now my daily commute can be anywhere from 2-4 hours, depending on traffic.  so i thought i would share some of my favorite audiobooks, just in case you ever find yourself moaning about hearing Call me Maybe for the 9 billionth time.

Kid Friendly:

[duh. and if you haven’t read/heard it by now, just stop what you’re doing and get yourself to a bookstore. stat.]

also, while we are on the topic of books.  i got to be the kindergarten mystery reader for bug’s class today.  whooo buddy, i still think the job of a kindergarten teacher is one of the most challenging on earth!!! major love and appreciation to all you teachers.  i read four fabulous (^) books to the class and had twelve people ask to sit next to me at lunch (talk about a self-esteem booster, i’m still on a high from it)!
